open myself up as a channel for spirit to work through. It is
not scary; in fact it is quite the opposite. It is relaxing, calming,
and warm. The energy in my hands becomes very warm. This is an
indicator of knowing it is working actually! It is just like the laying of the hands referred to in the Bible.

I am trained in the Sivananda style of yoga. This includes a mixture of pranayama (breathing), kirtan (chanting), asanas (physical practice) and meditation (centering). It is a wonderful way to practice a spiritual movement to help heal the heart, the mind and your life. Yoga is a spiritual practice whether you practice with this intention or not.
