About Emily

Greetings! My name is Emily A. Smith and this is my new site! I have a degree in Exercise Science and Wellness with a Minor in Nurtrition. Masters and PhD in Philosophy specializing in Comparative Religion from the University of Sedona. I went to the Atlanta School of Massage and completed the Clinical and Neuromuscular program there. After that I went through the Dr.Vodder school International for Manual Lymph Drainage and Combined Decongestive Therapy. This is a very specialized training to work with people post surgery, post cancer or primary lymphedema and venious insufficiencies. I moved to Florida all last year and worked at a Lymphedema clinic and got the experience I needed to feel confident with this work. It's been an amazing experience and one that I intend to keep up with for many years to come. I would love to open up a healing center for people to come and stay.
I am also a Usui and Karuna Ki Reiki Master and a Sivananda Yoga Instructor.

Over the past three years I have begun to write and really explore my creative side. I had a long, horrible bout with anxiety and began to write my way through a lot of it.

I am thrilled to say that I have just released the book ANXIETY SUCKS! and it is on sale now! I also have the book Awaken to Expanded Consciousness on sale now and another beautiful, funny book called Thank You MR. WRONG coming out in June 2009 and will be available for purchase on this site.
It is my mission to share with others the support that they are not alone in their anxiety, or their quest to finding greater awareness and consciousness.
